Environmental Markets Lab

The Environmental Markets Lab (emLab) is an interdisciplinary team of scientists based at the University of California Santa Barbara that conducts cutting-edge, data-driven research on the power, limitations, and design of market-based approaches to tackle the world's most pressing environmental problems. In collaboration with implementing partners, we aim to better align environmental objectives and economic incentives in support of sustainable livelihoods and a resilient planet. 

Dining

Center for Research, Excellence and Diversity in Team Scholarship

The Center for Research, Excellence and Diversity in Team Scholarship (CREDITS) is an integrated research and training program to increase and enhance Team Scholarship (TS) and collective intelligence capacity, effectiveness, and excellence. Diversity on teams is known to have positive effects on creativity, innovation, and productivity. Apart from its contribution to scientific breakthroughs and grand challenge problems, TS has beneficial impacts on individual research careers.

CARE

Campus, Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) is UC Santa Barbara’s confidential advocacy and education office for interpersonal violence (sexual violence, relationship violence, and stalking). We offer free and confidential services for students, staff, faculty, alumni, community members, and friends/loved ones impacted interpersonal and gender-based violence and we provide violence prevention education for the entire UCSB campus.
