Housing
From the social buzz of residence halls or the independence of apartments, UCSB has an array of living options. With furnished spaces, utilities, high-speed internet, meal plans, and 24/7 support — all steps from campus, the beach, and Isla Vista — students can comfortably focus on their courses and their community.
Dining
Fueling students across campus with a diversity of fresh, tasty and convenient options: three dining commons, a takeout operation, multiple retail markets and eateries, as well as Campus Catering, Campus Concessions and the Miramar Food Pantry.

In addition to on-campus housing and dining facilities, HDAE manages transportation, parking, and fleet services, as well as the Campus Store, the University Center and the Event Center. HDAE hosts 150,000 guests every year for conferences and events, while serving 21,000 customers daily across its dining and retail facilities, providing housing for 10,000 students on campus and support for 9,300 students living nearby. With more than 600 staff members and 1,800 student employees, HDAE enhances the dynamic environment at UC Santa Barbara by helping students thrive academically, socially, and beyond.
